With January coming to an end, it is time to announce our February event!

But first a little bit of information regarding our meet-ups for those who are new around here.

How the meet-ups work:

We provide the place and you bring your own laptop, notebooks and/or books (or you can buy books from us before the meeting).

How can I join in?

You can book a FREE ticket through this link.
We have 11 spots available. Without a ticket we can’t guarantee you a seat.

If it turns out you can’t make it, no worries! Just let us know so we can assign your ticket to someone else.
We also keep a waiting list, so in case there are no more tickets available, you can request to be added to it. Just email RRWC@boekhandelvangennep.nl or DM me on Instagram at @astoryofsorts.

The online version takes place via Discord. Joining online? Let us know in advance and we will send you a Discord link and a how-to on the day of the meeting!

Schedule

6:30pm to 7:00pm: Walk-in
Walk-in begins at 6:30pm. Until 7pm you can browse the bookshop and start settling in.
7pm to 7:15pm: Check-in
We talk about our plans for the session: what we will be writing or reading (or both).
7:15 to 8:30pm: Writing/Reading
We read and write together in silence.
8:30 to around 9pm: Check-out
With our reading and writing done, we have time to talk about our progress, to have a chat, and even make friends.


Coffee, tea, water, and light snacks are on us. Aside from that, feel free to bring your own drinks or food (there’s a supermarket not too far, if you’d rather pick something up on the way).

Please also note that this location isn’t accessible; unfortunately the desks are up a flight of stairs, the toilet is down a flight of stairs, and there’s no lift.
If you are joining us to read and don’t need a desk, there is space for a wheelchair downstairs and we can add a few extra chairs there as well. Let us know!
