Gözde is a freelance visual artist and internationally published illustrator, born and raised in the vibrant city of Istanbul and now based in her adopted home, Rotterdam. Her work spans editorial and book illustration, fair trade apparel design, and creative workshops.
Gözde is known for crafting vibrant, imperfect worlds that invite connection and spark imagination. She often uses rich shades of blue to evoke emotion, depth, and a sense of quiet wonder in her work. Passionate about sustainability, social equity, and diversity, she prioritizes projects that align with these values and contribute to meaningful change.
She is the co-creator of De Rotterdammer, a fictive magazine project that celebrates local narratives through a playful and artistic lens.
